November 1, 2018 Calling all parent photographers! Valley View's yearbook committee has a deadline coming up in late November for about 30 pages in the yearbook. These pages will include First Day of School, Carnival, Book Fair, Donuts with Dads, International Day, Peeps, Live Oak, Career Day and the Fun Run! If you have any pictures to share, please upload them to the following google drive as soon as possible. Original sized photos upload best!

SCHOOL NEWS Teaching children resilience and reflection are the SEL topics for the second nine weeks. Who wants FREE money for our school? The Box Tops for Educations submission deadline is November 1st! Please drop off your box tops in the cabinet near the office so they can be tallied and mailed in for cash for Valley View. DISTRICT NEWS All schools release exactly 3 hours early. Bus routes run exactly 3 hours early. Elementary Parent Reminders: Lunch will not be served; Remember to make any necessary changes in Campus Dismissal Manager. Join us on November 5 from 11:00 AM -12:30 PM or 5:30 PM -7:30 PM for a casual opportunity for public comment and input on the future of instructional technology. No formal presentation. In October, the Board heard reports on several topics including an update on the Digital Learning Task Force, the selection of the Envision Eanes committee, the review of potential bond category #2 (energy efficiency & conservation) and an update on the Special Education initiative. You will notice there are numerous opportunities for discussion and involvement; please participate as you are able.
