Courage to Stand
This program, geared towards 4th and 5th graders, lets students explore the role of the courageous by-stander by examining the choices, risks, and consequences of intervening to assist a target. Students are given the opportunity to think through and safely rehearse the dynamics of bullying in contemporary situations from their everyday lives, as well as from two moments in history: Civil Rights Era and the oppression of the Jewish people during World War II.
